The Glory Of Being A Me

I've been lots of places and done lots of things.  No place or people impact upon me moreover RUSSIA!

The first person I met upon my arrival in Russia, became my best friend and brother over a short period of time!  He remains that friend and brother to this day, always in thought, in admiration, as I admire his success - wishing that he will attain even more during my absence! 2007 marks the first year in three that I have not been in his company and the company of those I have come to love so dearly!

 I want to be there and so, I'll do whatever it takes to get there.  I'm cool, and if ya don't believe me, just ask my brother.  :-) I will see you all again.  In the meantime, I'll do a bit each day to share my world... .

I must admit that I would've preferred to be in Russia than being in the comforts of my own home - access to the worldly and tangible things I own.  I was not there and thus sad, but I was there in spirit! Pictures in my mind were indeed essential!

 Moreover any one thing, I may have missed the great food as prepared by Stephano!  Or, perhaps the amazing smile of the intriguing woman whose name I do not really know today!  Hey, a smile so nice ya gotta c it twice and twice is not enough!  Food!  Now that could be it, but I'd not forgotten about Colin's chicken liver salad that came along with great jokes!  Still I wish I had been around, as does Pierre Eugene!

A note: I'm a musician and this is not karaoke.  I play and sing every part on this recording as well as anything else you might hear on this site.  This project took about two hours to record, using Logic 6 on the OS9 Mac side. The biggest task was compiling photos and video clips... a simple IMOVIE HD presentation.  There will be more to come as I will not leave anyone out!  If you're not familiar with My Russian Family, they are the people who take care of me in a far away land that happens to be very dangerous for foreigners.
